Sikorsky S-76 Executive Interior Refurbishment Project
The Project:
For this project, Generation Global provided an executive interior refurbishment for a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. The work was carried out during the helicopter's heavy maintenance at the client’s facility. The refurbishment included new seat upholstery, rewrapped interior panels, and new floor carpets. Our team expertly executed the work on-site, ensuring a seamless integration of high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship.

Seating:
This helicopter was initially not configured in an executive style, with two-seater aircrew bench seats in the cabin and two single crew seats in the cockpit. All new seat covers were crafted from black leather (ADI-1091), featuring SP1 perforated leather inserts for breathability. The inserts were enhanced with horizontal double stitching done in black thread, matching the leather’s color for a sleek, unified design. Additionally, all plastic parts on the crew seats were wrapped in black vinyl, adding a cohesive touch to the overall seating aesthetic. -
Interior Paneling:
The interior paneling was removed and sent to our Nelson, New Zealand facility for refurbishment. At the facility, the panels were thoroughly cleaned and prepared before being wrapped in matte black vinyl. We then installed lighting, air conditioning, and speaker components onto the panels, followed by the attachment of placards to ensure that the panels were both functional and visually striking when reinstalled. -
Floor Coverings:
The floor coverings were completely replaced, and new Genflor Black City carpet was installed throughout the cabin. The edges of the carpet were bound with black mesh for durability and a professional finish. To further protect the new carpeting, additional carpet overmats were provided for the rear cabin, preserving the aesthetic and functionality of the floor.
