AS350 Helicopter Seat Replacement – Custom Titanium Grey Leather and Branding by Generation Global
Project Overview
For this project, Generation Global was tasked with upgrading the seating in an AS350 helicopter for an Australian client based in Perth. Our team replaced two crew seats and the rear passenger seat assembly, all designed with Gen I styling to maintain the helicopter's original look while incorporating modern customizations. The final product featured titanium grey leather upholstery and customized branding to elevate the overall interior.

Custom Titanium Grey Leather Seats with Branding
For this AS350 seating upgrade, we used titanium grey leather to provide a sleek, professional finish that complements the helicopter's interior. The outer seams were accentuated with Portland Grey piping, adding a refined outline to each seat. The centre seat inserts were designed with a simple vertical seam, which, paired with matching thread lines, allowed the seats' design to stay understated while focusing attention on the custom branding.
To personalize the seats, we embroidered the client’s logo in full colour on each seat back, ensuring a distinct and unique touch that aligns with the client's branding. The embroidery added an additional layer of customization, elevating the aesthetic appeal of the seating.
Secure and Versatile Seat Attachments
For practicality and safety, each seat was securely fastened to the aircraft using hook velcro, which was stitched onto the seat backs. This method ensures that the seats stay firmly in place during operation.
In addition, the rear passenger seats featured webbing loops on both the seat backs and bases. These loops serve a dual purpose: they allow the seats to be tied together to prevent them from becoming detached during flight, maintaining stability and safety for passengers.
