Beech V35B Bonanza – Vintage-Inspired Interior Restoration
The Project
This interior transformation saw Generation Global supply and install a highly customized cabin refurbishment for a classic V-tail Beech V35B Bonanza. The goal was to restore this iconic aircraft’s interior to its former glory, while introducing a retro-inspired aesthetic that blends timeless elegance with modern comfort.
Drawing inspiration from vintage styling cues, the design featured distressed leather and warm autumnal tones, creating a space that is both nostalgic and luxurious.

The V35B Bonanza stands out with a host of unique features that set the stage for its vintage charm:
- Trapezoidal long rear window: Enhances cabin light and visibility, lending a classic silhouette.
- Long-chord stabilators: Signature V-tail design contributes to the aircraft’s sleek profile.
- Stinger tail cone: Adds to the streamlined look and aerodynamic efficiency.
- Cowl flaps on sides of cowling: A subtle nod to vintage engineering, aiding in engine cooling.
- One-piece windshield (no center strip): Offers an unobstructed panoramic view and a clean, period-correct look.
- Ventilation inlet scoop between stabilators: Blends function with form.
- Single, throw-over control yoke: A hallmark of classic Bonanza cockpits.
- Vernier engine and mixture controls: Vintage tactile feel meets modern precision.
- Gear handle on right, flap on left: Echoing traditional cockpit ergonomics.
- Extended aft baggage area: Practicality for longer journeys or more gear.

- Leather Used: Monarch Greenstone – a richly textured, distressed brown leather

Sidewalls
- Fully wrapped in matching Greenstone leather
- Accented with a quilted leather band and metal decorative bead for a refined, layered aesthetic
- Stitch lines mirror the seat design for a consistent visual theme
Carpet & Floor Finishing
- Carpet: Liberty Copper – a light-toned carpet with a copper-speckled pattern incorporating orange and brown tones
- Binding: Finished with a light mesh binding for a subtle, cohesive trim
Headlining & Cabin Plastics
- Suspended headlining in light tan vinyl
- Sun visors wrapped in matching vinyl for continuity
- All cabin plastics and window surrounds painted in a matching tan tone to unify the ceiling elements
