Aircraft Template Verification Process

To ensure an exact fit for the flooring in your aircraft, some aircraft types require a mandatory physical patterning phase. Minor variances across individual aircraft structures mean that digital measurements alone cannot guarantee of a fit. Utilizing a physcial test-pattern prevents manufacturing a flooring set that does not fit your aircraft or required amendment at the time of installation. Production on the final layout does not begin until the physical template has been test-fitted and verified inside the specific aircraft

1. Timeline & Lead Times

Because precision manufacturing requires physical validation, this quality-control step impacts standard delivery schedules:

Initial Lead Time: The template process adds a minimum of 1 week to standard manufacturing lead times.

Revisions & Delays: If adjustments or modifications are required after the initial test-fit, the production window may be extended further depending on the complexity of the changes.

2. Shipping & Revision Costs

Responsibilities for shipping and template adjustments are structured as follows:

Outbound Shipping: The initial physical template is supplied and shipped to the delivery address completely free of charge.

Marking Changes: If the template requires alterations, all adjustments must be clearly marked and noted directly onto the physical material. Where needed additional adjustments that extend beyond the template can be made using tape.

Return Shipping: Templates requiring modifications must be mailed back to the production facility for pattern refinement. The cost of this return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

3. Production Commencement

Final manufacturing is strictly on hold until the physical template has been checked inside the aircraft.

Approval: If the template fits perfectly, confirmation finishes the validation phase and moves the order into active production.

Refinement: If changes are sent back, production remains paused until the updated patterns are processed and finalized.
